Trovix, Inc, a provider of intelligent search technology, today announced that Lee Bieber has joined the companyís management team as Vice President of Engineering. Bieber brings more than 18 years of industry experience building dynamic engineering teams and high quality software from tenures at industry-leading organizations including Intuit, Marimba and Sun Microsystems. In this new position, he will lead the engineering teamís implementation of research and development (R&D), and product development activities, as well as define and drive future innovations.

Bieber joins Trovix from Intuit, where he was Operations Leader for QuickBooks Online Edition and instrumental in improving service up times and performance. Prior to Intuit, he was Vice President of Engineering at Marimba, an industry leader in content management. During his five-year tenure at Marimba, Bieber was responsible for the engineering, user interface and quality assurance teams as well as the development and maintenance of efficient engineering processes that resulted in the improved stability and quality of product releases.
Prior to joining Marimba, Bieber spent 10 years with Sun Microsystems in senior engineering management positions for the developer tools group, handling some of Sunís most important developer initiatives. He has a B.S. in computer science from Purdue University and is a resident of Palo Alto, Calif.
