TPO Inc. celebrates ten-year anniversary

Human Resource outsourcing demands fuel growth

TPO, Inc. a full-service human resource outsourcing firm serving corporations and non-profits, recently celebrated its tenth year in business. Demand for human resource outsourcing has fueled the companyís growth over the last decade.

TPO was established in 1994 on the principle that small and medium-sized businesses as well as emerging growth companies often lacked the time, resources and expertise to develop and implement a human resource program. By outsourcing senior-level human resource professionals, organizations can provide superior employee relations, compensation, human capital policies, compliance procedures, performance management and organizational design, so client executives can focus on their core business objectives. TPO has experienced significant growth, increasing revenues over 120% in the last three years alone. In January 2003, TPO acquired The Fasad Group, Inc., a human resources consulting firm based in Washington, D.C.; thereby expanding its compensation and performance system design capabilities.

ìTPOís success stems from the strength of our staff and their ability to build superb, long-term relationships with their clients,î said Karen Usher, Chairman, CEO and founder of TPO. ìEach has an exceptional skill set, and a commitment and professionalism that has not only helped our clients grow, but thrive as well.î

The company is planning an anniversary celebration later this year. The Wilderness Society was one of TPOís first clients. ìWhen I came to The Wilderness Society in 1996, we had just begun our working relationship with TPO,î said Bill Meadows, president of The Wilderness Society. ìForced to downsize our HR department, TPO stepped in to provide personnel consultations and to develop an efficient, effective HR program of benefits and staff support.î

TPOís review and recommendation of benefits options and a merit-based compensation structure for The Wilderness Society has led to a professional relationship which has endured over the last decade. Meadows also underscored TPOís ability to deliver the HR resources and expertise that many smaller organizations cannot afford on their own, while fostering strong interpersonal relationships between them and The Wilderness Society staff.
