Topaz is urging recruitment companies to reward hardworking payroll staff by boosting their qualification prospects with a 4,000 Bursary Fund nomination for a Diploma in Payroll Management.
The payroll, HR and financial software company has linked up with the Institute of Payroll Professionals (IPP) to launch the Topaz Bursary Fund as a ëpayback to payrollí by providing a deserving winner with the necessary funding to cover the cost of the full fees for the two year IPP course.
Nominations are being collated until the deadline at the end of the February 21 to 22 Softworld HR and Payroll event hosted at London Novotel West, Hammersmith, where Topaz will be promoting the integrated Topaz EMS (Employee Management System) solutions.
Suitable candidates can be nominated by their employer directly, by colleagues and also by self nomination, but in all cases with the full approval of their employer. All nominations should be sent directly to Topaz before the final IPP selection process.
To obtain a Topaz Bursary Fund nomination form, which must be submitted before the February 22, 2007 deadline, contact Laurie Chivers, Topaz Marketing Manager, on 01773 531 551 or email to laurie.chivers@topaz.co.uk
A winner will be announced by Topaz and the IPP at the end of April 2007 ahead of the two year course, which is scheduled to begin in September 2007.
Keith Brown, Topaz EMS Business Development Manager, officially launched the Topaz Bursary Fund at the IPPís exhibitor stand during the Softworld event in October, held at the Birmingham NEC, and is now looking for companies to take advantage of the nomination process by putting forward suitable candidates.
ìOur intention is to give a significant ëpaybackí to the payroll profession by linking up with the IPP to provide a commitment to an individual to further their career by covering the cost of the two year IPP Diploma course fees,î says Keith Brown, Topaz EMS Business Development Manager.
ìThis is an ideal opportunity for recruitment companies to reward deserving payroll staff by nominating them for a potential qualification boost without the financial implications for the individual or their respective employer.
ìAs the saying goes, ëyou have to be in it to win ití. So all nominations should be submitted before the deadline, as we can only put forward the nominated candidates that are received before and during the time we are at Softworld in February.î
