Cash Simply, launched in April 2004 to provide innovative funding and administration solutions to the Recruitment industry, has announced today that it September results show that it is beating its business plan.
The ambitious business plan predicted first monthly breakeven for the new venture at the end of October 2004 but the September results have already shown a profit, a month earlier than planned.
Tom Atkinson, CEO who joined Cash Simply in July said:-
ìThe staff and our customers have been great but even so I didnít really expect to be at this point so early against an ambitious plan. Our customers have appreciated the simple to use service and we have received many accolades. However, I was taken aback to receive not only thanks but some flowers from a happy customer last week!
We have even had words of thanks from debtors taken on as a result of debt purchase; for helping them sort out purchase ledger problems that they had been unable to resolve with our predecessors and despite my considerable time chasing debts I have never come across that before. If we ever get flowers and thanks from a debtor then Iíll know we have reached a pinnacle! ì
The other significant factor has been the excellent operational IT work delivered both on time and below budget by our Managing Director David Thornhill. I believe it can already deliver more for our customers and their clients than can be delivered by any competitor and David tells me there is more to come.î
David said ìThe pace has been hectic over the last six month but we have already been able to deliver four major IT innovations to our customers in just six months and we have a raft of customer benefits in planning. Now that we are passing our financial milestones I am looking forward to delivering solutions that make doing business even more simple for our customers and their clients.î
Off to a flying start
