The Times and The Sunday Times are the premier destinations for management consultancy recruitment from graduates to senior level within their respective markets. The recent increase in demand for management consultancy projects has generated an increased need for high calibre staff. The campaign has been designed to raise the profile and appeal of management consultancy at all levels.
The campaign objectives are three-fold: to improve the appeal of moving in to management consultancy at all levels from graduate to senior level; to highlight some of the interesting work that management consultancies are involved in; and to drive good quality candidates to management consultancy employers.
The six-figure campaign generated by sponsorship, which runs until 22 May, 2006, comprises a variety of different cross-platform activity within The Times, The Sunday Times and at Times Online, including print supplements, digital and events.
The Timesí supplement, Public Agenda & CAREER are publishing a series of editorial focus reports and press advertisements promoting public sector and graduate management consultancy recruitment. In addition, a 24 page standalone supplement to be published on April 30 entitled ìConsulting ñ The Next Stepî, sponsored by IBM Business Consulting, Atos Consulting, Capgemini and Ernst & Young, will look at the senior end of recruitment.
The campaign will culminate with an invitation-only exclusive networking event on 22 May at the London Stock Exchange for senior level experienced hire recruitment currently sponsored by Atkins Management Consultants, Atos Consulting, Capgemini, m.a.partners and Watson Wyatt.
Ian Clark, Advertising Director, Times Newspapers commented: ìThe Times, The Sunday Times and Times Online are among the most effective media channels for targeting the management consultancy sector. We are designing increasingly creative cross-platform campaign solutions for our recruitment clients to ensure that they engage effectively at all levels with our audiences. This campaign with the MCA successfully combines a broad variety of activities, involving many of the biggest names in management consultancy, to achieve the original objectives.î
The partnership was brokered by Jason Baker, Group Head of Career, MBA and Recruitment Solutions, whose team is currently broadening Times Newspapersí offering of cross-platform solutions for the recruitment market.
