Thomsons Online Benefits, the UKís employee benefits consultant and technology provider, today confirmed continued outstanding growth for 2006 as they released excellent results in their 2006 audited accounts.
Last year was another excellent year for Thomsons, with group turnover increasing from 3,793,517 in 2005 to 5,852,396 to the 31st December 2006. In the past twelve months, Thomsons Online Benefits has made significant inroads in acquiring new clients in most industry sectors, with significant progress in the legal, banking and insurance sectors.
The cornerstone for this sustained growth is Thomsonsí continued investment in both new talent and their own technology, Perquisiteô, with over 1,500,000 invested in new technology releases in 2007.
Thomsons Online Benefits opened their Singapore office in 2006 and expect several significant new clients from this office in 2007. This growth demonstrates their global intentions and is the first step of many, anticipated internationally over the next few years. This comes as more of their clients bring their global operations under the control of Perquisiteô, Thomsons Online Benefitsí software.
Thomsons Online Benefits now have over 200 clients using their software, consultancy and communication solutions globally and is on target to add at least 70 more clients to this number by the end of 2007, resulting in over 300,000 employees successfully using their software.
Michael Whitfield, Managing Director, commented, We are absolutely delighted with this strong, continued growth in both profits and revenue which now put us clearly ahead as the best performing company in this sector. This outstanding performance is down to our fantastic team of people, our innovative, flexible and robust technology and our great clients. We continue to drive our standards higher in terms of service, software and sales and have a clear vision and direction for the business over the next five yearsî.
He added, If 2006 was a very good year, then we are confident that 2007 will eclipse it with even more spectacular growth than at itsí current rateî.
