Age Positive is a Government initiated campaign that has been set up in order to help employers prepare for the age discrimination legislation; coming into force on 1 October 2006.
The scheme promotes the benefits of employing a mixed-age workforce that includes younger, as well as older, people. It also encourages employers to make decisions about training and recruitment, which does not discriminate against age.

Today law firm, Thomas Eggar, announces that it has been awarded Age Positive Champion Status. The firm has been recognised as an age positive employer and is one of the few law firms to achieve this to date.
