The Urquhart Partnership is giving Manchester business people food for thought after launching Lunch and Learn sessions.
The HR, training and recruitment consultancy is presenting lunchtime sessions on a series of subjects which will help enhance businesses during June and July and there are a limited number of places still available.
The Urquhart Partnership MD Campbell Urquhart will discuss the differences between coaching and mentoring on Wednesday, July 2 and a session advising on recruitment and retention will be given on July 17.
A session focusing on how newly appointed managers can deal with people issues will be held on July 28.
DeeDee Lynch, business development manager at The Urquhart Partnership, said:
These Lunch and Learn sessions are a great opportunity for people to boost their knowledge during their lunch break.
Participants will be offered an insight into an array of topics which will help develop their individual and business understanding.
The lunch sessions are complimentary, include lunch and are held at The Urquhart Partnership's office on Floor 26 of the City Tower.
The Urquhart Partnership also hosts Belbin lunches, which explore how individuals behave in the workplace according to management theorist Meredith Belbin. All lunchtime guests will be personally profiled and will receive written reports on the day.
DeeDee added: The Belbin lunches have been well attended and we have had great feedback from guests about how the session has helped them address people issues in the office.
Belbin profiling enables people to understand their own behaviour and that of others and so helps strengthen teams in the workplace, which ultimately leads to better business success.
There is such a thing as a free lunch at The Urquhart Partnership
