The Works recruits a new head office

Yorkshireís leading recruitment consultancy has opened a new head office in Bradford

Yorkshireís leading recruitment consultancy has opened a new head office in Bradford. Gerry Sutcliffe MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Employment Relations, Consumers and Postal Services, officially opened the new head office in December.

The Works, established 13 years ago by Managing Director Craig Burton, has seen phenomenal growth over the past few years making the move a business necessity.

Based now in The Vault - once a bank at the bottom of Barkerend Road and the Bradford ring road - The Works has been able to increase its staff to cope with the demand from both employers and employees.

The company now employs 30 staff across its three branches, with 12 of those in Bradford.

The prominent position of The Worksí new office has significantly raised the visible profile of the recruitment specialists.

Our new office is not only an exceptionally good development for us as a company, but also for our client companies and the more than 51,000 people we have on our books, said Craig Burton.

The Vaults is a historically significant building which we have refurbished sympathetically to provide a good working environment for our staff and a pleasant meeting place for our clients.

Unlike most of our city centred-based competition, we have ample parking for visitors and staff - a little something that means a lot for clients and employees alike. The location - and our rather bright company branding - has also helped us to get on the radar of clients who may have missed us in our old offices, which is a bonus for us and them.
