The National Engineering and Construction Recruitment Exhibition (NECR) at the NEC, Birmingham on 12 & 13 May 2006 will be offering hundreds of exciting engineering and construction opportunities with well-known organisations. These promise excellent career prospects to the thousands of both skilled, experienced professionals and graduates expected to attend.
Following the success of the show in 2005, there will again be a superb range of positions at the exhibitions, for both graduates and the highly-skilled. These cover the full spectrum of the industry including civil and structural engineering, aerospace, construction, automotive, facilities management, mechanical, manufacturing, process and defence, and are offered by a wide variety of organisations including many prestigious companies.
Among the organisations recruiting are Alstom Power Service, BAE Systems, EDS, Honda, M. W. Kellogg Limited, Marshall Aerospace, Raymarine Plc, Raytheon, Royal Air Force, Switchgear & Instrumentation Ltd and Transport for London.
The exhibition offers many valuable features and advisory services to facilitate job-seekers. These include: engaging career presentations to inspire candidates; fascinating company presentations that demonstrate the hottest jobs currently on offer; one-on-one CV advice to enable engineers to perfect and tailor their CV to make maximum impact; and an interview clinic with small group exercises to improve interview techniques. There will also be the chance for visitors to test their ingenuity and skills through interactive industry challenges.
Scott Bannerman, Recruitment Sales Manager for The National Engineering & Construction Recruitment Exhibition, says: The UK engineering and construction sectors have gained an exciting boost with the successful bid for the 2012 Olympics, creating an increased demand for engineers and construction professionals to plan and build the stadia and transport links over the next few years. Now is the time to start looking for careers opportunities in these markets - and this is the ideal place.
