The Blomfield Group has sold a further 52% of its business to Vedior, the international staffing company, who have extended their original investment made in May 2003 to 70% in order to promote the Blomfield Group’s future growth.
Established in 1988, with a turnover of 51.6 million*, Blomfield Group is a leading recruitment and HR services group comprised of five subsidiaries:
Joslin Rowe Associates - Permanent Recruitment
Joslin Rowe Temporaries - Temporary and Contract Recruitment
Firth Ross Martin - Executive Search
Origin HR - Recruitment, Graduate & HR Outsourcing
JR Selection - Executive Front Office Recruitment
Under the terms of the deal, between the Blomfield Group’s board of directors and Vedior, Blomfield Group and all its subsidiaries will continue to trade under their existing brand names. There will be no changes to the current management team or staff members. Instead the firm will embark on a sustained push into new markets and geographical areas both nationally and internationally.
It is very much business as usual but with an added impetus and focus on our long-term growth, comments Martin Krajewski, Chief Executive of the Blomfield Group. Over the last three years of Vedior’s involvement the Blomfield Group has enjoyed record profits and numerous awards and accolades. Just last week Origin HR was voted Best Managed Service Provider at the UK Recruiter Awards for Excellence, whilst Joslin Rowe scooped the title of Best Accountancy/Financial Recruitment Firm for an unprecedented second year running, beating competitors including Michael Page and Robert Walters. Working with Vedior more closely will ensure we can broaden both the geographical scope and market reach of the services we offer to our clients, which in turn will provide new opportunities for our existing staff and candidates.
