The Apprenticeís Jo Cameron heads up open event at Coventry TechnoCentre

The award-winning conference venue will be opening up its doors to local business people interested in finding a new venue for meetings, training or conferences.

Now heading her own web-based recruitment company at Coventry University Technology Park, Jo is armed with a wealth of knowledge to inspire people to be the best at what they do. She will talk about her experience of starting out as a young trainee at MG Rover and how she worked her way up to the position of Head of Training in a male-dominated industry.

Jo says, ìThe value of meeting and sharing ideas with your colleagues in the right environment cannot be underestimated and the level of energy and creativity at the Technology Park is unparalleled. My experience has proven that staff morale and performance can hugely benefit from spending time away from the confines of the regular work environment.î

Based at Coventry University Technology Park, Coventry TechnoCentre is renowned for its high-tech facilities and strong commitment to meeting customer needs. In 2006 it was awarded ëBest Conference Venueí at the Coventry and Warwickshire Godiva Awards.

Alongside live cookery demonstrations, visitors will be able to sample the TechnoCentreís new ëbrain food menuí, which has been specially designed to keep conference-goers healthy and creative. Visitors on the day will be the first to experience the launch of the Design Hub, a state-of-the-art centre, providing a range of design-related support, services and facilities for companies looking to gain a leading edge.
