TFPL to highlight new products and services

TFPL, the specialist recruitment and advisory business, will highlight its new products and extended services at Online information exhibition that is running in London from 2nd -4th December at Olympia.

There has been a significant uplift in the recruitment market in the last few months with an increased number of vacancies coming into our recruitment teams and a renewed interest in driving initiatives forward by appointing interim managers or teams of contract staff said Nigel Oxbrow, TFPLís Chief Executive. After two years of ístallingí many of our clients are now keen to refresh their efforts of achieving improved business performance through a focus on knowledge and information. They are looking for strategic advice, professional coaching and for people who can apply knowledge and information skills to a broad range of business challenges and in the context of the organisations strategic objectives. We have adapted our own capability to reflect these new demands and now offer an even wider range of flexible and integrated services.

We have extended our human capital management services to help organisations implement organisational change and support growth in corporate capability. These services include: recruitment, consultancy and advice, executive search and selection, assessment centres, development centres, training and learning, coaching and mentoring, facilitated workshops and planning sessions.

We have been awarded an S-Cat Framework Agreement to provide HR Consultancy, Interim Management, Recruitment and Training services to public sector organisations including the NHS.

We have teamed up with BIE - the UKís leading independent specialist provider of senior level Interim Executives - to extend its Interim Management offering to cover all senior assignments as well as those specifically relating to knowledge, information, content management and intranet and web strategies.

We have published the Knowledge and Information Management Competency Dictionary which provides clear definitions of knowledge and information competencies that can be incorporated into a corporate framework or used specifically for knowledge and information roles.

We have launched the Knowledge and Information Skills Toolkit, a web-based diagnostic toolkit, which enables individuals or teams to assess the relative importance of different skills in knowledge and information roles against the level of skills currently available.

Our Associate Advisors, Alan Gilchrist and Barry Mahon, edited Information Architecture: Designing information environments for purpose which has been published this year by Facet Publishing in association with TFPL.

Our 14th European Business Information Conference (EBIC) will run in Lisbon from 16th -19th March 2004 - the thought leadership event for senior executives in the knowledge and information arena.
