TempWorks, the staffing software company, was placed 28th in the global Healthiest Cultures Program

conducted by human resources publication, HR.com and Emerge International.

More than 300 organisations visited HR.com between April 2004 and July 2004 to sign up for the new program that determines the health of both the staff and the leadership sides of the business. Companies completed the survey using Emergeís cultural assessment tool Cultural Health Indicator. In the end, only 36 companies met all the criteria, which included: survey population and response rate. TempWorks was the only staffing software company to make the list.

ìWe have carefully woven process management and innovation into our culture, and that has created a climate for staff to advance rapidly in both responsibility and compensation. We place a priority on ethical conduct and carefully manage expectations with both clients and employees, giving us an almost 100% retention rate with both groups.î says Gregg Dou r garian, President and founder of TempWorks. ìAs a result we are seeing very positive market expansionî.

The top 50 companies were primarily small and quick to make make decisions. They had the authority to distribute the survey material immediately and the leadership support ìto tap into the employee populationî. All companies scored very highly in the ìcustomer serviceî category ñ both internal and external, according to HR.com
