Taleo Names Steve Irwin as Regional Sales Manager, UK and Ireland

Taleo, the provider of on demand talent management solutions, today announced the appointment of Steve Irwin as regional sales manager, UK and Ireland. In this role, Mr. Irwin is responsible for sales to both new and existing customers in the UK and Ireland, reporting to Taleo Group Vice President of EMEA, Neil Hudspith.

A highly accomplished sales leader, Mr. Irwin has built an impressive track record of growing businesses through establishing successful long term relationships with enterprise customers. Most recently Mr. Irwin spent seven years at Oracle as a sales manager for its applications portfolio, including HR applications. With his broad industry experience, Mr. Irwin led the sales efforts for several different sectors in the UK including consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, financial services, utilities, telecommunications, manufacturing and technology.

Steve knows how to build outstanding relationships with large, complex customers. Prior to his time at Oracle, Mr. Irwin spent nine years at Digital Equipment where he was named the top regional salesman for four consecutive years. He also held sales leadership positions at Clarify Software, Ross Systems, and Foresight Software, where he had sales responsibility for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
