Atlanta-based TalentQuest announced today seasoned executive Mike Phillips joined the company as the new Chief Financial Officer.

Mikeís financial savvy and expertise will add tremendous value to our business operations, said Frank Merritt, Chief Executive Officer of TalentQuest. He has already positively impacted our processes by implementing new structures and perspectives.

Phillips brings over twenty years of financial experience to TalentQuest. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer for Flag Bank, a bank holding company with nearly 2 billion dollars in financial assets. His responsibilities included directing the activities of Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Information Technology, Information Security, and Loan Operations strategic functions in support of 26 locations and 14 counties throughout Georgia.

He has earned multiple professional designations including Certified Management Accountant, Certified Financial Manager and a host of professional certifications in management consulting, business strategies and project management.

Mike is originally from Alabama and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Fairfield University and a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Troy State University.
