Take a road trip with Adecco & DRP

The middle of winter may not seem like the ideal time for a road trip, but that has not stopped Worcester based presentation and communication company DRP Group.

As part of the internal communications programme that DRP produces for global recruitment leaders Adecco, the company recently set off in an adapted luxury camper van for the first in a brand new series of Road Trips.

The first Road Trip, which took place recently, saw DRPís Stuart Harris journey to Glasgow where he visited two branches of Adecco to interview and film the employees who would then feature in Adeccoís very own Communication programme, Adecco Echo. The crew then followed a staff road show, visiting Newcastle and Manchester, interviewing the delegates along the way.

Project manager Stuart Harris explains: We have been producing the Adecco Echo show, which is aired monthly to every branch in the country, for some time now but logistically itís very hard to film some of the more remote branches. Previously the filming was kept local to our studios and Adeccoís Head Office in London, so we thought it was about time for a change.

After a bit of planning, it was not long before a luxury camper van was transformed into a mini studio so we could travel the length and breadth of the country and reach all those employees weíve previously missed.

Footage from the first Road Trip has already been edited and successfully aired and received by all Adecco colleagues.

Stuart continues: Everyone was delighted with the result, especially those colleagues who had watched Adecco Echo so many times before but never had the chance to star in it themselves.

As a result of this success, the second Road Trip is currently underway, with Stuart, DRPís Cameraman, a dedicated driver and Echoís Presenter Lindsey Silcox from Adecco, all packing their bags once again and preparing for a few days on the road. This journey will cover North England, Ireland and Wales, visiting 10 branches all with three days! And as if that wasnít enough, a further trip visiting the South Coast from Cornwall to Dover is planned for this year.

Adecco Echo is a 20 minute production which DRP creates every month for broadcast in every one of Adeccoís UK branches. DRP works closely with Adeccoís internal team from start to finish, devising concepts, writing scripts, filming and editing.
