CV Screen the Thames Valley based IT Recruitment Consultancy has recently introduced an IT Salary survey to assist businesses within the region. The survey tracks over 30 permanent IT positions and is designed to help organisations benchmark salaries within their IT department.
The survey monitors over 5000 advertised positions across the Thames Valley region and concludes that the average salary for an IT professional in the Thames Valley region is 34,247.
Managing Director, Matthew Iveson commented, ìThere has been a consistent demand for IT professionals within the Thames Valley region throughout 2005 and indeed the first few weeks of 2006 have seen a significant rise in the number of enquiries from both candidates and employers.î
ìThe survey shows that demand for .Net, Java and Networking skills continue to be high within the Thames Valley. With the region continuing to grow, we anticipate further growth in the demand for IT staff and as a result IT salaries are likely to continue to rise.î
