Search and selection consultants Stark Brooks Associates, its continuing to strengthen its team with the following the appointment regional manager, Chris Paramore, who has launched a unique conversion programme for new employees, aimed at routing out rogue recruiters.
Chris, who is REC qualified and joined Stark Brooks from Hays, will oversee the bespoke training programme based around the needs of an individual joining the firm, including modules on market mapping, head-hunting, competency based interviewing and client development. With more than 300% increase in retained work over the last six months and a recruitment drive to appoint six new consultants before May, Stark Brooks has formalised an already successful approach to ensure that new consultants match the expectations of clients.
Paramore comments: ìThe recruitment industry in renowned for unethical consultants and a one size fits all approach, which can make it extremely difficult for the real consultants to get past the barriers put up by businesses who have in the past had a bad experience. The conversion programme validates our professionalism and is in line with the REC guidelines to ensure that anybody who works for us operates at the level that our clients expect.î
Sally Toumi, Managing Director at Stark Brooks comments; ìThe launch of the conversion programme reflects our approach to not only finding the best employees for us, but for our clients to. The programme is targeted at experienced consultants who are looking for a move away from agency recruitment to more retained work with a large element of search work. As the company has grown we have found it increasingly difficult to find consultants who have the right experience and approach to recruitment and are able to deliver the results to the large companies and brands that we represent. With our new programme in place we are confident that we will be able to get new starters working the Stark Brooks way within a very short period of time.î
