Staff vote BUPA one of the best 100 companies to work for

BUPA Insurance has been ranked one of the top 100 companies to work for in the Sunday Times ’100 Best Companies To Work For’ survey, for the second year in a row

BUPA Insurance has been ranked one of the top 100 companies to work for in the Sunday Times ’100 Best Companies To Work For’ survey, for the second year in a row. The leading health and care organisation was also ranked as one of the top 30 companies in the UK for providing an excellent work/life balance.

The survey, which asks employees to provide confidential feedback on all aspects of their company, is the biggest and most comprehensive survey of the British workplace.

Helen Hall, director of human resources, BUPA Insurance said: As a health and care organisation we believe it’s extremely important to look after the wellbeing of both our members and our employees. Our experience has shown that if people enjoy coming to work they are more motivated to achieve results and deliver a high level of service to customers.

BUPA employees also highlighted the company’s principles with 84 percent applauding its values. Strong team spirit, a consultative culture and excellent benefits were also praised.

Employee responses to questions covering areas such as leadership, personal growth, wellbeing, my team, company and giving something back, as well as an in depth company questionnaire on practices, policies and benefits, enable the Sunday Times to compile the Best Companies list.

The Best Companies project, now in its sixth year, acknowledges best practice and helps employers to improve the workplace experience of their employees, creating a happier, healthier, more engaged workforce.
