On Friday 1st October 2004 The TipTopJob Team ’denimstrated’ they cared by throwing out their suits, jumping into their jeans and TipTopJob t-shirts and donating money to the national Jeans for Genes appeal.

The annual campaign urges everyone to get denimstrating simply by wearing their jeans and donating 1 or more. Proceeds help eight national charities, including Great Ormond Street Hospital Childrenís Charity and The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign to fund vital genetic research to help alleviate and cure childhood genetic disorders. The funds go to research into serious and often life-threatening genetic disorders affecting thousands of children. Funds also help to provide laboratory equipment and valuable advice and support for families.

All the staff at TipTopJob contributed to wear jeans for the day and the company donated 100 to the charity. Wearing jeans helps create a relaxed working environment, and staff have the personal satisfaction that they have made a real difference for a worthwhile cause.
