In a move which places Smart Recruitment firmly at the top of their game, Helen Stacey, Director of Smart Recruitment, has been co-opted onto the Migrant Workers Taskforce on a committee which advises government policy.
Thanks to an opportunity provided to the thriving company from Dorset Business, Smart Recruitment, who are a Premier Partner of the local chamber, were invited to sit on the prestigious committee. Other members include representatives of the recruitment industryís governing body, the REC as well as large companies such as Shell International, BT, Tesco and the CBI
Helen comments, ìI am delighted to be able to take a key role in advising the government on this hugely important agenda. The taskforce acts as a forum where the Home Office can secure direct input from employers on issues relating to international workers. As a recruitment specialist and an employer, I have significant dealings with all levels of the business environment, both within my own company and with many other businesses with whom we work closely. It was therefore felt I was well placed to offer advice.î
The Employer Taskforce provides a joint forum for the Home Office and employer and trade union representatives to consider the development and implementation for managing the flow of migrants coming to the UK to work or study.
Continued expansion and diversification of the group has seen Smart Recruitment make an impressive start to 2007. An innovative company, Smart Recruitmentís approach to the industry is to lead by example in an uncompromising and forward thinking manner. Helenís appointment to the Migrant Workers Taskforce further demonstrates Smart Recruitmentís credibility within their highly competitive industry and the genuinely pioneering approach the company takes to business.
