SkillSurvey Creates Professional Advisory Board

Lou Manzi, Cynthia Hedricks to Co-Chair

SkillSurvey, Inc. announced a new Professional Advisory Board to guide business and technology growth for the online reference checking pioneer.

Composed of nine business leaders and established academic researchers, the Advisory Board provides SkillSurvey with recommendations, guidance and support for the companyís executive team. The board is co-chaired by Lou Manzi, vice president of GSK Talent Solutions and Cynthia Hedricks, chief analytics officer at SkillSurvey.

ìOur main focus in creating the board was to support our goals of delivering innovative products and services that transform talent management for organizations worldwide,î said Hedricks. ìThis group of established professionals was carefully chosen to help us accelerate our efforts in attaining these goals.î

ìHaving been in the talent acquisition marketplace for some time, I have never seen a more concise and efficient tool that obtains accurate references for candidates,î said Manzi. ìSkillSurvey ensures that business-related facts and data are garnered ñ no more friends and family references that tend to be focused away from the work environment.î

Lou Manzi oversees strategy and delivery of global talent sourcing and recruitment functions at GlaxoSmithKline. Manzi is known for his entrepreneurial approach to talent acquisition. He is an innovator in the area of ìcandidate care,î applying a customer service model to the job candidateís recruitment experience. He is also recognized in the area of recruitment metrics to improve recruitment operations. Manzi serves on a number of boards, including the US Army War College, The Best Practices Institute and The Executive Grapevine.

At SkillSurvey, Cynthia Hedricks oversees the integration of market demands and organizational development consulting with HR technology innovations and psychometric research principles. She is recognized for her work in collecting, analyzing and presenting behavior and biological data gathered in the applied setting. Hedricks has worked extensively as a consultant, helping to improve quality of hire at organizations such as CH2M HILL, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Kohlís, the Help Desk Institute-UK, and Wal-Mart (Brazil, Canada, China, and Mexico).

The Advisory Boardís inaugural meeting is in March 2008. The board will meet quarterly and will also consult with the companyís executives on an on-going basis.
