The managing director of simplylawjobs.com has been rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous after the company sponsored two of the UKís top legal awards.

Michelle Jones, Managing Director of simplylawjobs.com, was on stage with Boris Johnson, the high profile journalist, columnist and Member of Parliament, at one ceremony followed by, just a fortnight later, the actor and comedian Alan Davies.

Her company, which is one of the UKís top three legal recruitment websites, sponsored the ëOnline Service of the Yearí category at the Legal Technology Awards at the Park Lane Hotel in Londonís Piccadilly hosted by Mr Johnson. The award was won by law firm Eversheds.

Two weeks later simplylawjobs.com sponsored the ëRegional Law Firm of the Yearí section at the prestigious Legal Business Awards.

This time the ëOscarí style black tie ceremony was held in the Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane, London. The category sponsored by simplylawjobs.com was won by law firm Howes Percival. Alan Davies, best known for his role as TVís Jonathan Creek, hosted the ceremony.

Michelle said: ìBoth Boris Johnson and Alan Davies were charming hosts but it was still nerve-wracking going up on stage in front of so many people. A few minutes before Emma and I went up on stage with Alan Davies one of the award-winners had tripped and fallen off the back of the stage so I was particularly nervous at missing a step!î
