SHL is launching its successful partner programme, the SHL Partner Network (SPN), in the UK. With over 230 partners registered worldwide, SPN provides independent psychologists, HR consultants and specialists with privileged access to SHL products and information to enhance the service they can provide their clients.
Independent psychologists and HR consultants play a key role in the market for assessment products, often providing in depth sector or local market knowledge that is invaluable to their clients. In response to feedback from this community SHL has created the SHL Partner Network to offer them more information and better access to SHL products in ways that support their own businesses.
The SPN provides members with access to a range of support materials including white papers, product information, norms and validation studies. All of this is available via a password-protected website.
Nigel Thomas, director of alliances and channels, at SHL, commented: We have created the SPN in response to feedback from the marketplace and we hope that it will be a win-win for all parties. Independent psychologists and consultants can enhance the services they offer with simple to deploy SHL assessments, whilst SHL benefits from partnering with local and industry-experts that have strong relationships with organisations around the country. The SPN is also rapidly becoming a global community that helps local specialists reach and work with their peers around the world.
Charles Rowett, managing director of Pragmatis, a specialist change management consultancy and SPN member: As independent consultants we must ’punch above our weight’ and the SPN provides us with opportunities to extend our relationships with large corporate clients, especially with regards to leadership and organisational development. The association with SHL and the world-wide reputation of their products will help us to continue to grow our business nationally and internationally.
Elizabeth Battle HR Manager at TAC Europe, a technical recruitment specialist who recently joined the SPN, commented The hiring of a new employee is one of the most important decisions a manager is called upon to make. TAC Europe in partnership with SHL has the tools to ensure that our clients are equipped to make the right recruitment decisions - first time.
