Scotlands only media website launches industry-leading service

.

A directory which allows media professionals to up-load film clips, still images and audio files is being launched on Monday February 6 for the Scottish market. It is the only service of its kind north of the border, beating many UK competitors on cost, access and reach.

www.allmediascotland.com already has a database of over 2000 members, making it the largest directory in Scotland of media talent. Now on offer to existing and prospective members is the opportunity to create personal web pages with 8Mb worth of material. Show reels, TV ads, film clips, and portfolios of still images can be mixed with text and audio files. There is no limit to number of times that samples of work can be substituted with new or other material.

The new service is aimed at companies and individuals. Each directory entry will also provide room for a complete CV, back catalogue of work and description of current projects. The new database is free to search - making it more accessible and user-friendly than any other service in the UK.

For a limited period, an enhanced entry in the allmediascotland media directory will cost 10 (payable online) for the first year - a tenth the cost of Productionbase.co.ukís annual fee, and twelve times cheaper than rivals, Broadcastfreelancer.com. It is a third of the cost of shootingpeople.comís annual fee. Yet, allmediascotland also provides industry-leading news, information and a daily email to keep members in touch.

ìWe believe we are offering a market-leading service at an unbeatable price,î says Mike Wilson, director, allmediascotland.com. ìOur new-look site, with a host of other improved services, consolidates our position as the best media news and talent site for Scotland. This directory gives our members an advantage over other UK services.î
