The acquisition reinforces Savile Group’s position as one of the major providers of Career Transition services, enhances the Group’s regional presence and adds yet further diversity to its client base. Founded in 1990, CMC provides continuity through business and career change and has worked with some of the country’s biggest employers through their strong regional network across the UK.

Penny de Valk, CEO of Fairplace Cedar, commented: “I am delighted that CMC is joining the group.  Both businesses have strong reputations for high touch quality outplacement services.  I’m looking forward to working more closely with their managing director, Isabel Chadwick, and the rest of her team to build on their strength in Career Transition.”

Isabel Chadwick, who will remain as MD of CMC, added:  “We’re pleased to be joining Fairplace Cedar within the Savile Group and looking forward to the prospect of what we will achieve together in the future.  Access to the combined expertise of the Savile Group businesses will help CMC to grow and strengthen our offering.”
