Looking at average salaries for job posted in June so far, when compared to the same period last month, the Midlands dominates the top ten list. The full list is as follows:
- Liverpool (+10.3%)
- Portsmouth (+7.5%)
- Swansea (+7.2%)
- Wolverhampton (+4.7%)
- Derby (+4.7%)
- Coventry (+4.6%)
- Edinburgh (+3.7%)
- Nottingham (+2.6%)
- Cardiff (+1.4%)
- Brighton (+1.2%)
Salaries in all other major cities either held steady or recorded a slight dip in average salaries for the month so far.
