The International Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM) announced Lisa Rowan as its 2008 Summit Award winner. IHRIMís Summit Award recognizes members who have made significant, long-term contributions to the advancement of IHRIM's mission and goals, and have facilitated the exchange of ideas, solutions and information about issues impacting the industry.
Rowan will be recognized Monday, June 2 at IHRIMís 2008 Conference and Technology Exposition in Orlando, Fla.
Rowan serves as IDCís program director for HR and Talent Management Services research. In this role, she provides expert analysis on both the business services that address HR- and talent-related process issues. She consults on HR processing services, Business Process Outsourcing services, and HR IT services, such as systems integration and IT consulting.
Additionally, Rowan is frequently quoted in the press and is a sought-after speaker at events. Her influence and industry impact was recognized recently as she was named to both HRO Today magazineís list of 2008 HRO Superstars and HR Worldís Top 25 HR Influencers for 2007.
A member of IHRIM since 1997, Rowan is actively involved in numerous HR organizations and serves on the board of directors for its New England chapter.
