Rockpools setting the Standard on disability

Rockpools executive recruitment consultants are among the latest organisations to sign up to the Employersí Forum Disability Standard 2007.

They are one of 60 public and private bodies to commit to the benchmarking exercise, which measures performance on disability as it affects every aspect of business.

By signing up for the Disability Standard 2007, we will be able to assess how disability confident we are, and seek out new ways to have an even more inclusive workplace.î

Caroline Leon, Employersí Forum Disability Standard Project Manager said: ìWe are really pleased that Rockpools are taking the lead on disability within the recruitment sector.

ìWhat we hope to see is others following their lead and making the first step to getting it right on disability.î

The Employersí Forum Disability Standard first took place in 2005, with 80 participants.

This number is expected to be at least double when the results of the second Disability Standard are announced in autumn 2007.
