International job board JobServe today announced the return of its founder, Robbie Cowling, to the role of CEO. This has been triggered by unforeseen resignation of its former CEO, John Cowling, for personal reasons and with immediate effect. John has returned to his home in Australia, where relinquishing his CEO role will enable him to provide full support to his family. He will remain involved with JobServe as a strategic consultant.
Speaking of the change, Robbie Cowling said “John’s departure was unexpected but we all understand that family matters come first. He has worked tirelessly for JobServe for the past 4 years and this has allowed me to concentrate on other areas of the Aspire Media Group. However, now that I have returned to the role I am really excited about what I can achieve. John has ensured that JobServe UK has remained strong and profitable in very difficult economic times and he has also grown the brand in the US and Canada. It is now my job to take everything up another notch”.
