TOPIC: Rob will share statistics Monster have collated for the UK and European online recruitment markets over the past year.

Rob joined Monster UK and Ireland in September 2005 as Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Rob is responsible for the PandL of Monsterís largest region in Europe. Robís overall goal is for Monster UK to become the undisputed number one in online recruitment by 2007 and the biggest recruitment advertising revenue earner by 2008. His personal ethos for the company is to promote a culture of leadership, training and development.

Rob has over 12 years management and sales/marketing experience in recruitment. His previous role was regional CEO of Monster Northern Europe, where he was responsible for the businesses in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and the Benelux. Prior to this role Rob was Managing Director of Monster Netherlands and was responsible for managing the integration of Jobline with Monster, in the Netherlands as well as six other European countries.

Before joining Monster, Rob worked at Trust Computer, an international manufacturer of computer peripherals, where he was Managing Director of Germany in charge of 50 people. Prior to this role, Rob was the sales manager for Mobo Promotions, an agency specialising in hostesses, sales and promotion services working with a database of 2000 flexible workers.

Rob is from the Netherlands and studied Dutch Business Law at the University of Rotterdam. His hobbies include making music; windsurfing and enjoying spending time with his wife and three children.
