Rob Bond named as Recruitment consultant of the Year 2003

.

Rob Bond from Preferred International, IT resource management and recruitment specialists, has won the Recruitment Consultant of the Year category at the prestigious REC Recruitment Industry Awards 2003.

To be successful in the recruitment industry consultants have to be ambitious, professional, committed and hard working and the judges recognise all of these attributes in this yearís winner. The award recognised the best in the field and Rob snapped up the award for his openness and respect for honesty and confidentiality.

Rob joined Preferred International in July 2000 and has since built a strong and loyal base of clients and candidates by understanding their needs and recognising that solutions need to satisfy both parties. He has an excellent portfolio of both recruitment and service clients and attains good or excellent performance satisfaction rating in 97% of Preferred Internationalís client and candidate satisfaction questionnaires.

One of this yearís judges, Christine Little from Littlesmith, said: ìRob demonstrated that he has the ability to meet and exceed targets, is dedicated to customer service and professional standards and has proven business development skills. Despite a tough market, Rob has exceeded the four criteria necessary to win this Award, and is a credit to Preferred International.î
This year’s awards saw four of the best Recruitment Consultants from across the UK compete for the annual award in front of an audience of over 500 recruitment professionals. The results were announced at the awards dinner on Friday 26th September hosted by TV presenter Ruth England at the Marriott Hotel in London.

David Clayden, Director at Preferred International comments: ìI am thrilled that Rob has come through to win this award. His philosophy has always been to provide a quality service to both clients and candidates to get the most from the comprehensive range of recruitment and resource management solutions we offer.î

Preferred International has previously proved itself an award-winning contender at several events including the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2003 where it won the Best IT Recruitment Firm Awards, and Ernst and Youngís Entrepreneur of the Year Awards where co-founding Director Nick Daniels secured a place in the finals in both 2002 and 2003.
