Recruitment company makes new appointments

A North-East engineering recruitment company has announced two appointments to help with Its expansion plans.

TechConsult UK Ltd, based at The Wilton Centre near Redcar, east Cleveland, which operates within the offshore, fabrication and maintenance, process, shipbuilding, and civil engineering industries, has named Lynne McMahon as its office manager.

Lynne, who joined the company in September 2006, as Recruitment Administrator, will now take on responsibility for all the companyís administration and financial matters at its Teesside head office.

Managing director Steve Guest said: ìLynne is an extremely dependable person with excellent attention to detail, and her understanding of office management is one of the keys to Techconsult UKís current successes.î

The company has also named Sarah Myles, 20, as its new Office Administrator. Sarah, who joined the company in October last year via the NECC Modern Apprenticeship Scheme, is now taking her NVQs in Business Administration to become fully qualified in the role.

Mr Guest said: ìSarah has effortlessly settled into her first real job as Office Administrator and has quickly become a real asset to the business. She also has an infectious zest for life, that rubs off onto us all.î
