Strategic Divesture Further Enables Recruitmax to Focus Squarely on Core Business of Providing Strategic Workforce Management Technology and Services to Large to Mid-Sized Enterprises
Recruitmax, a global provider of technology and services for building great workforces, today confirmed its sale of selected small business applications to Houston-based Administaff, Inc. Recruitmax originally acquired the applications when it bought KnowledgePoint in August 2004. Divested assets include the online portal HRTools.com as well as other desktop products and web portals related to job descriptions, performance reviews, personnel policies and procedures, and corresponding intellectual property.
The divesture does not affect Recruitmaxís core performance management applications. Recruitmax will continue to develop and actively market Recruitmax Impact, its award-winning enterprise performance management product that was announced generally available in April 2005. Since that time, Recruitmax Impact has experienced rapid market adoption, including new licenses by more than a dozen enterprise clients in the outsourcing, insurance, hospitality and other sectors.
Recruitmaxís CEO, Derek Mercer, commented, ìDivesting ourselves of these small business applications is consistent with our vision to remain focused on the medium- to large-enterprise client. Since acquiring KnowledgePoint in 2004, our team has done an outstanding job leveraging the performance management-specific product assets to create Recruitmax Impact. The natural synergies for these other applications, which are better suited for small businesses, lie within Administaffís impressive customer base.î
