Record Results revealed as Online Recruitment in Ireland soars

25% increase in unique visits and 20% increase in visits on IrishJobs.ie, Irelandís number one audited recruitment website.

Record numbers of jobseekers and employees in Ireland are reaping the benefits of online recruitment, according to the latest independent audit of Irelandís number one recruitment website, IrishJobs.ie.

Figures just released by ABC ELECTRONIC (the media arm of the Audit Bureau of Circulations) highlight the dramatic growth in jobseeking and recruitment activity on IrishJobs.ie during the last twelve months. The impressive figures continue the trend of year on year increases experienced by the company. In January 2007, a high of almost 800,000 visits to the site represented a 20% increase on 2006. The number of different jobseekers increased by 25% to 413,766 in 2007, corresponding to a different jobseeker visiting the website every 6 seconds.
