Record Month for FE Careers and FE News

Last month was the best yet with nearly 620,000 hits, 12,250 unique visitors and 200,000 page views across the two sites.



Last month saw the announcement of the strategic partnership between FE Careers, FE News and the Association of Learning Providers. The ALP represents 420 of the UKís Work Based Learning Providers. The ALP partnership is announced in addition to healthy partnerships with the IAV and AEV that were struck earlier in the year.

FE News has continued to lead the way in Further Education news, being first to release national interest articles on the Foster review, NATFHE strikes, NATFHE / AUT merger and continuing to enjoy exclusive articles with the leading Further Education industry leaders.

FE Careers has enjoyed great success in what is traditionally a quiet period in the run up to Christmas, winning several long term advertising relationships with Training Providers, FE Colleges and FE Recruitment organisations.

The CEO of FE News and FE Careers comments This is excellent news for FE. FE News is assisting in pushing the Further Education sector to national news. The partnership with the Association of Learning Providers will provide a long term platform to promote skills and work based learning within the FE sector and to the general public. The launch of our FE RSS news and jobs service will only increase the accessibility to the our Cinderella sector, addressing the FE image problem and letting us grow out of the middle child syndrome that has hit the press recently.
