Recruitment agencies are being given a chance to hire a temp with a difference during National Temporary Workers Week which runs from June 2nd to June 6th.
For staff at the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), the trade association for the UKís private recruitment industry, will be offering their professional services for a day to members with membersí proceeds going to the Cancer Research Campaign.
The initiative called REC Temps will be held during National Temporary Workers Week, the RECís annual flagship event, when members through a silent auction will be invited to bid for the services of any member of staff who is included in a special ìTemps Availableî directory.
The directory will include profiles of all staff participating in REC Temps and the member putting forward the highest bid will secure their services. Successful agencies can then liaise directly with the member of staff for whom they have bid to decide the date on which they can come and work for them as a temp.

The skills REC staff can offer include web design, legal and compliance health-checks, training planning, data entry, finance or strategic planning, public relations and marketing, reception duties and event planning.
