RAC Auto Windscreens has appointed Sarah Scullion to its Board as HR Director

RAC Auto Windscreens has appointed Sarah Scullion to its Board as HR Director.

Reporting directly to RAC Auto Windscreensí managing director, Bill Duffy, Mrs Scullion will be responsible for defining and delivering a plan that ensures HR adds tangible business value to the companyís Business Change Programme.

Based at the companyís head office in Chesterfield, Mrs Scullion has a national remit which encompasses 1800 colleagues based across the businessís head office, 154 fitting centres, a factory and two distribution centres.

Mrs Scullion joins from Marks & Spencer plc, where she held the role of head of HR for retail change - a strategic business programme impacting on 65,000 employees.

Explaining the challenges of her new appointment, Sarah said: íI want to help take the business from good to great and that begins with improving colleague satisfaction at all levels, reducing staff turnover and making RAC Auto Windscreens an employer of choice nationally.í

She added: íThis is a fantastic opportunity to drive change through a very different type of organisation compared to my previous employer. Although working as part of a team of directors to improve business performance, there is also a level of personal accountability associated with the role.í
