Specialist ICT staffing company Penta Consulting based in Wallington Surrey is celebrating after being placed 64th in this yearís prestigious Sunday Times PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 league table announced Sunday 22 April.

Profit Track 100, now in its eighth year, measures Britainís fastest-growing private companies by profit growth over the last three years and Pentaís annual profit growth of 58% year on year created its position as the highest ranked recruitment company included. This listing is seen as the definitive league table of Britainís most successful private companies and Penta sits alongside top household brands including Virgin Money, Dyson, Fat Face and Caffe Nero.

Penta is one of only two recruitment companies to be included in this annual nationwide survey of the countryís most dynamic independent companies. Commenting Paul Clark, Managing Director said. Making it into the Profit Track 100 is a great testament to all the hard work and commitment that has gone into making Penta such a successful and profitable company and Iíd like to thank everyone for their contribution. Winning awards is very positive for the business and great for the people involved, but being applauded for being one of the most profitable companies in the country is really what itís all about. Profitability is absolutely key to being able to reinvest and drive your business forward.

Suzi Woolfson, assurance partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, commented:

It is great to see companies delivering sustained profit growth and making such a positive contribution to our economy.
