PreVisor Continues Support of HCI’s ’Financial Services’ Learning Initiatives

.

The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association and educator in talent management strategies, and PreVisor, a leader in predictive employee selection, announced today that PreVisor has renewed its sponsorship of HCI’s Financial Services education and research track. With the understanding that different industries often face unique human capital challenges, HCI is focusing its considerable thought resources on several industry-specific areas; financial services is one field of concentration.

HCI and PreVisor recognize that the financial industry has changed over the past several decades in both size and complexity in order to meet the requirements of more savvy and demanding individual and institutional investors. In addition, mergers and acquisitions, layers of regulation, and the potential for scandal have added to the industry’s dynamics. As a result, today’s financial services positions can require a different skill set and knowledge base than has traditionally been required.

The financial services industry faces unique and complex talent management challenges, said Allan Schweyer, HCI’s President and Executive Director. PreVisor’s ongoing support allows HCI to explore solutions to these challenges and share findings with financial services executives and human capital professionals.

HCI’s track focuses on talent management initiatives in the financial services industry, showcasing ideas that work. A panel of expert advisors examines new methods and trends, and best practices in talent management. The track’s advisors are Jana Fallon, Director of Assessment and Selection for Prudential Financial; Kevin Knutson, HR Metrics Manager for U.S. Bank; Prasad Setty, Vice President of Workforce Analysis for Capital One; and Sharmila Venkata, Senior OD Consultant for Regions Financial Corp. Webcasts, white papers, education, and other resources provide financial services employers with information to effectively manage today’s workforce.

We’re pleased to help financial services organizations better select and manage their human capital by continuing our sponsorship of HCI’s Financial Services learning and research track, said Noel Sitzmann, CEO of PreVisor.
