Pleasure Beach welcomes New Head of HR

Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, is delighted to announce the appointment of Pamela Roberts as its new Group Human Resources Manager.

Pamela joins the company from South Lakeland Parks, one of the North Westís leading holiday parks. Prior to this, Pamela worked as HR Manager for the Rand Group, a leading construction company. Her 11-year career with saw her oversee all aspects of recruitment, training and development of the companyís 350 strong workforce.

Originally from Hampshire, Pamela has been living in the North West for the past eighteen months. Prior to her relocation she was a regular visitor to Blackpool and has an affinity with the town. When she is not at work, Pamela likes nothing more than enjoying her new found hobby of fishing.

Pamela said ìI am looking forward to using my experience within the leisure industry to support Pleasure Beach and itís 500 permanent and 1,500 seasonal members of staff. Recruitment and retention of quality employees is a key element in providing good customer service and a memorable visitor experience.î
