Oriel Accounting Appoints Divisional Manager

Oriel Accounting has appointed James Luxton to the role of divisional manager, to help enhance the offering to current and future clients.

Working with Oriel Accounting managing director Su Copley, James will manage a team of six in the provision of payroll, accounting, company secretarial and taxation services to clients. His role will also include the production of statutory accounts, VAT returns, Pay As You Earn (PAYE) and National Insurance Contributions (NIC) submissions.

Before joining Oriel, James worked as financial controller for European Home Retail in Swindon, whereby within a total of 18 months, he managed the successful completion of the total replacement of the companyís bespoke computer system. This was a very demanding task that required high levels of people management and measured internal communication.

On his appointment, James said: ìThis is a very exciting opportunity for me, and one with huge potential for growth. My aim is to develop a structure within the department that will allow us to provide our services to a wider marketplaceî.

James lives in Cheltenham with his wife and two children and in his spare time enjoys playing golf and rugby.
