You've probably heard the buzz about the Onrec awards. Nominations are already flowing in. In conjunction with Onrec's Global Online Recruitment Conference and Expo to be held Sept 9-10 in Chicago, Online Recruitment Magazine has established an exciting new awards program to recognize excellence in the rapidly evolving and growing field of online recruiting.
All readers have an opportunity to participate in the nominating process. So yes, absolutely, go ahead and nominate a recruiting best practice. It will take about 15 minutes. Do you have a client with a leading-edge product? I am sure you will put a big smile on that clientís face when they find out that you nominated them. It might also be a very smart and creative way to open a door to a client company you have been trying to work with. The five brand-new award categories are: Best Online Career Website 2008 Award, Most Innovative Online Recruiters 2008 Award, Most Innovative College Recruiting Campaign 2008 Award, Most Innovative Employee Referral Program 2008 Award, and the 2008 Game Changing Recruiting Technology Award.
The organization or individual nominating the award winner will be highlighted and announced at the Onrec Expo cocktail reception in the expo hall on September 9th. All winners will additionally be featured and in a follow up article in Online Recruitment Magazine.
