Three online recruitment courses provided by Enhance Media have been approved as BTEC qualifications ñ thought to be the first in the UK to achieve this status.
The courses in effective e-recruitment, online copywriting, and online recruitment sales have been accredited as BTEC Level 2 by the examination board Edexcel.

Online recruitment advertising is now estimated to be worth around 300 million a year and ensuring staff are properly trained and qualified will help maintain and develop its credibility. In a growing and maturing market, itís important to have qualifications with external accreditation. Weíre delighted our training courses have been accredited by Edexcel, the UKís largest awarding body.

Effective e-recruitment, this seminar provides recruiters with an overview of using the internet as a recruitment tool.
Copywriting for online recruitment, including understanding the job seekerís perspective and writing attention-grabbing copy.
Online recruitment sales which includes structuring online sales pitches and the effective use of web metrics in the sales process.
Tim Elkington said: ìThe courses that have been approved to date enable both the buyers and sellers of online recruitment solutions to obtain qualifications in their field and they should help improve standards and professionalism within the industry.î
Over 500 delegates attended Enhance Media training courses in 2007 and 14 open seminars are scheduled for 2008. In addition, Enhance Mediaís annual conference, Online Recruitment 2008 ñ the year ahead, takes place on February 1 and looks at key issues facing the online recruitment industry, including social networking sites, mobile e-recruitment and search advertising.
