Putting together a successful project from start to finish takes time, effort, and of course, a lot of brainpower

Putting together a successful project from start to finish takes time, effort, and of course, a lot of brainpower. The International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM) is sponsoring a one-day course to take both the beginner or the experienced project manager to the next level. The course focuses on the skills, tools and techniques that project managers and their teams should know to effectively define, plan and manage projects.

This course will cover everything from project planning and how to assemble a project team to cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment and the use of project management software. Taught by a renowned expert in the HRMS disciplines, the class will be a mix of lecture, class interaction and class assignments.

The seminar will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 22 at The Mirage Las Vegas. The featured speaker is Barbara Von Bergen, an independent consultant experienced in all aspects of human resource systems.

Register online today. The registration fee for the full-day session is $595, and covers all course materials, as well as breakfast and lunch. This course is being presented in conjunction with the Global Oracle HCM Users Group (OHUG) 2008 annual conference.
