OilandGasJobVacancies.com launches for SMEs

Oil and Gas Job Vacancies was launched in November 2007 to provide a cost effective service for job postings in the industry. The site has been launched to respond to the global demand for skilled professionals in the petrochemical, oil and gas industries.

MD Frank Cullen formally a Document and Information Manager with 20 years experience in the industry has launched the site with Bev McGuckin (Sales Manager) to cater for Small to Medium sized recruiters and employers. Bev has a wealth of experience in the web based sales and marketing arena.

OilandGasJobVacancies.com is part of the Job Vacancy Guide.com Group, established in March 2007 to provide niche industry job sites. Future specialist job sites will be launched in the coming months based on our fully functional content management system.

Investors are welcome to contact JVG to discuss our plans and proposals for our new sites. Progress is going well and we hope to launch our second site in May 2008, followed by our third in August. Cross-site advertising will be available on all sites should they have the applicable content.

The site brings as standard tools a job applicant tracking system with number of views and applications, email job vacancies opt in, CV upload and browsing functions along with featured and corporate recruitment sections plus a lot more. All employees and recruiters can manage their adverts from the content management system. You decide what is published, edited or deleted, this way you can manage your own requirements during your recruitment drives at no extra cost. For employees it is Free to register, we also have a featured profile section for personnel seeking immediate work with automated e mail updates for new vacancies.

The site is networked with Broadbean for recruiters who use this provider. Plans are in place to implement other network providers. JVG also provides an input job ad service at no additional cost to the recruiter/employers.

We currently have some major advertising projects ongoing including a Search Engine Optimization Project with a top ten service provider, investment in PPC, traditional and online media campaigns. From 24th March we have a national radio advertising campaign, beginning in London for 3 weeks. This has been produced and managed by a very popular sports radio channel. Targeted marketing campaigns are ongoing to increase the quantity of CVs for the database. Our database currently holds over 1,700 live job vacancies.

You can see from our site that we have successfully adopted the KIS (Keep it Simple) principle, and our site does just that. The site was designed with our employees and employers in mind and our categories reflect the main- stream disciplines within the industry at present. Additional Categories can be added on request.
