Offshore Marine Services Announces Appointment Of New UK Marine Operations Director

Offshore Marine Services (OMS), the international oil and gas marine and drilling support service contractor, has appointed John Reid as UK director of marine operations. The creation of this new position comes at a time of significant growth for the company which has forecast worldwide group sales for 2007 at more than US $200 million.

John joins OMS from his position as director of operations at Prosafe Offshore. In his new role, he will assume overall responsibility for the development and subsequent management of the OMS Groupís European Marine business. This includes the regional deployment of OMSís fleet of offshore supply vessels, the provision of rig moving services and a comprehensive range of associated marine consultancy services.
