OfficeMax selects Taleo solutions for hourly and salaried talent management and assessment

OfficeMax to implement Taleo solutions to manage all worker types throughout the enterprise, including its more than 900 retail store locations across the U.S.

Taleo, a provider of enterprise talent management solutions for large organisations, today announced that OfficeMax, a leader in office products, has selected Taleoís solutions to optimise talent management processes for all of its salaried and hourly workers.

As part of the project, Taleo Hourly will be implemented throughout more than 900 OfficeMax retail store locations and distribution centers. OfficeMax has also selected the Taleo Assessment solution, including Taleo-built retail assessment tests, and will incorporate assessments directly into its overall enterprise talent management process. Taleoís validated and proprietary Retail Assessments apply behavioural science to the employee selection process and are designed to improve retention and increase overall quality of hire.

A comprehensive integration with OfficeMaxís SAP system and third party providers such as background checking and tax credit screening is also slated for the initial phase of the project.
