Niche job board network 247recruit have announced that they are co-sponsoring the UK's first national careers event for the Sport & Leisure Industry. Their specialist leisure industry job site, Leisurework.com, will be sponsoring educational seminars at Careers in Sport Leisure which takes place at the Sheffield Arena from 25-26 March.
Careers in Sport and Leisure will combine the biggest exhibition of its kind in the UK with more than 50 educational seminars and workshops targeting all those that want to work in the sport and leisure market. The event will be the first event of its type, bringing together some of the biggest trainers, educators, employers and membership bodies in the sector, alongside the ënext generationí of 16-24 year olds that will ultimately become tomorrowís workforce in the sport and leisure industry.
Leisurework.com will sponsor sessions on careers in the outdoor adventure and travel industries. These interactive seminars will be delivered by leading industry figures including Darren McLean from PGL Adventure and Andrew Parry from Neilson Active Holidays. Leisurework.com will also be running an interactive Careers Cafe within the exhibition area over the 2 days of the event. Delegates can drop into the cafe to browse jobs online, watch videos on different industry sectors or talk to industry experts for informal careers advice.
